Former Black Midi frontman Geordie Greep has canceled five U.S. tour dates following a sexual misconduct allegation that he has publicly denied.

The allegation surfaced during his October 8 concert in Vancouver, Canada, where flyers accusing the musician of sexual assault were distributed. During an onstage statement, Greep addressed the accusation and shared his account of an encounter at a house party.

Greep said he had misinterpreted the interaction and made an unwanted advance. He stated that he apologized immediately and firmly denied the allegation of rape.

The musician performed the Vancouver concert without his backing band and said proceeds from the show would support an organization assisting survivors of violence.

The canceled performances include scheduled stops in Boise, Salt Lake City, Boulder, Denver, and Omaha. A concert in Des Moines remained on the schedule, along with European dates planned for November.

Greep has not publicly provided a detailed explanation for the cancellations. The allegation remains disputed, and the circumstances surrounding the canceled performances have not been fully clarified.
