ASCAP announced the 2026 Latin Music Awards winners on May 5, recognizing songwriters and publishers behind some of the most-performed Latin songs of the past year.
Keityn received ASCAP Latin Songwriter of the Year for the third time. His recognized songs include Ángel, Coleccionando Heridas, Cosas Pendientes, Doblexxó, El Amor de Su Vida, Hiekka and mi refe.
Romeo Santos was named ASCAP Latin Songwriter/Artist of the Year for the third time. His recognized songs include Angel, Desde Hoy and Khé.
Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido, performed by Karol G, won ASCAP Latin Song of the Year. The song was written by ASCAP songwriter Rios and published by Capital Music Puerto Rico LLC and Kobalt Music Publishing.
Universal Music Publishing Group received ASCAP Latin Publisher of the Year for the fourth consecutive year. Daddy Yankee also added his 63rd and 64th ASCAP Latin Music Awards for Sonríele and Latina Foreva, making him the most ASCAP-awarded Latin songwriter of all time.
